Price: from $79.00 / year (Single Site License, Support and Updates included for 1 year). Set the other variants (2-5 Sites, Unlimited, 5 years) as on your other Gravity Forms add-ons.
Badges: Payment Add-On Framework · Revolut Hosted Checkout Page · Automatic webhook · Refunds
Short description
For Gravity Forms sites with a Revolut Business Merchant account: paste one Secret API key, add a feed, and take payments on any form; the webhook sets itself up.
Take cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay through Revolut’s secure Hosted Checkout Page. Entries are marked Paid automatically, notifications and other feeds can wait for the payment, and full and partial refunds are made from the entry screen.
Not a fit? Subscriptions or recurring billing, on-site card fields, or a business outside Revolut’s Merchant countries need a different solution: see custom payment gateway integration.
Long description
Quick answer (for buyers)
If your business banks with Revolut Business and has a Merchant account, you need a Gravity Forms add-on built on the Revolut Merchant API and the official Gravity Forms Payment Add-On Framework. PatSaTECH maintains the Revolut Gateway for Gravity Forms. It sends visitors to Revolut’s hosted page, so card data never touches your site, registers its own webhook, and confirms every payment with the Revolut API before an entry is marked Paid.
Who this is for
- Gravity Forms sites (order forms, bookings, event registrations, donations, applications) with a Revolut Business account in a Revolut Merchant country: the UK, the EEA (EU plus Iceland and Norway), Singapore or Australia. The sandbox is free.
- Sites that need notifications, post creation, Mailchimp, User Registration or other feeds to run only after payment.
- Agencies that need a documented, sandbox-tested add-on they can hand over to a client.
Who should skip (disqualifiers)
- Your business is not in a Revolut Merchant country (for example India, the United States or Switzerland).
- You need subscriptions or recurring payments. This add-on takes one-time payments (Products and Services).
- You want card fields embedded in the form instead of Revolut’s hosted page.
Dream outcome
Visitors pay with the card or wallet they already use, entries move to Paid on their own, the right notifications go out only after payment, declined visitors are told why and can submit again, and refunds are done from the entry screen.
Obstacles → what this add-on addresses
| Obstacle | How this add-on helps |
|---|---|
| Setting up webhooks by hand | The webhook is registered through the Merchant API when you save your key; its signing secret is filled in for you. |
| Entries stuck in Processing after the visitor paid | Signed webhooks, a check on return, a check 25 minutes after the redirect, and an hourly clean-up. |
| Fake or replayed webhook calls | Revolut-Signature v1 HMAC-SHA256 with a 5-minute window; the order is always re-read from the API. |
| Notifications sent before payment | “Send notifications only when payment is received”, delayed posts and Post Payment Actions for other add-ons. |
| Visitors told only “payment failed” | A clear reason above a fresh copy of the form, so they can submit again. |
| Refunds you can’t track | Full and partial refunds from the entry; refunds still waiting on Revolut are listed and count against the balance. |
Value stack (features)
- Revolut Hosted Checkout Page: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay (as enabled on your Revolut account).
- Gravity Forms Payment Add-On Framework: native payment status, transaction ID, notes, Sales report and the Payment Completed / Failed / Refunded notification events.

- Automatic webhook for 6 events, with “Register webhook now” buttons.
- Signed, verified webhooks and a per-entry lock.
- Delayed notifications, posts and Post Payment Actions.
- Full and partial refunds from the entry, with completion tracking.
- Clear decline messages; declined and unpaid entries marked Failed with the reason.
- Line items (with discounts) that add up exactly; optional forced 3D Secure; statement descriptor suffix; phone numbers in E.164.

Named method: Revolut go-live
- Confirm your business country is eligible for a Revolut Merchant account and that Revolut has approved it.
- Install on staging with your Revolut sandbox Secret key; check the webhook registered itself.
- Test matrix: a payment, a declined card (check the message above the form), a partial refund, and your delayed notifications.
- Paste the live Secret key, choose Live, and watch the first entries and the add-on log.
Honest scope & risk
PatSaTECH does not guarantee approval rates: card issuers and Revolut’s risk checks decide outcomes. Payment methods are enabled by Revolut on your account, not by the add-on, and Revolut decides who can open a Merchant account. Testing so far used the Revolut Business sandbox; live payments and Apple Pay (not available in the sandbox) have not yet been tested by PatSaTECH. Hosted checkout usually keeps your PCI scope at SAQ A, but confirm this with Revolut.

FAQ
Which countries can use it?
Businesses with a Revolut Business account in the UK, the EEA (EU, Iceland, Norway), Singapore or Australia. Revolut does not offer Merchant accounts in Switzerland, the US, Liechtenstein, India and other countries.
Do I need to set up a webhook in Revolut?
No. Revolut Business has no webhook screen: the add-on registers the webhook through the Merchant API when you save your Secret key, fills in the signing secret and confirms it in the settings and the log.
Where do I get my API key?
Revolut Business → avatar → Settings → APIs → Merchant API tab → API secret key. The guide shows every step with screenshots.
Can notifications wait for the payment?
Yes. Tick “Send notifications only when payment is received” in the feed, or use the Payment Completed notification event.
What does the visitor see if their card is declined?
A clear reason, such as “Your payment was declined because the card has insufficient funds…”, above a fresh copy of the form so they can submit again.
Can I refund from Gravity Forms?
Yes. Full and partial refunds from the entry screen; the add-on tracks each refund until Revolut completes it.
Does it support subscriptions?
No. One-time payments only.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. Use the free Revolut Business sandbox with Revolut’s test cards; nothing is charged.
